Taika Mannila (b. 1988) is a Helsinki-based multidisciplinary artist and art school drop-out whose practise spans music, podcasts, illustration and video. Working across mediums, she explores complex femininity and feminine survival strategies. Her work is shaped by a deep love-hate relationship with social media and a sustained curiosity about what it means to live a significant part of one’s life online. The It Girl Cure (2026) is her debut novel. She has also co-written a non-fiction book Bimbofication (2023).
