Katri Tapola (b. 1961) is an author whose works include novels, short prose, novels for children, and picture books in collaboration with several illustrators. Tapola’s first novel Pale Girls (1998) was awarded the Best Debut Novel of the Year when it was published, and her children’s novel Trade in Stones and Butterfly Weeds (2002) was awarded the Arvid Lydecken Prize. There You Are (2020) was IBBY Honour listed in 2022.
