Johanna Venho (b. 1971) is an author and poet who has written for both adults and children, receiving several awards for her books, including the Arvid Lydecken Prize for Children’s Literature in 2003. Her adult novel The First Lady (2019) was nomiated for the Finlandia Prize, Finland’s most prestigious literary award.
