Jenni Linturi’s (b. 1979) debut novel For Fatherland was published in 2011 to a wide critical acclaim. It was shortlisted for both the Finlandia Prize and Helsingin Sanomat literature prize.
Her second novel Malmi, 1917 (2013) was a poignant description of Finland on the verge of independence.
The latest one, Reconstruction (2017), tells about the fates of the same family two decades later.
