Fanny Penttinen (b.1993) is a Swedish-speaking Finnish illustrator from Ostrobothnia. She holds a degree in Visual Arts from the Vocational College of Ostrobothnia and a Bachelor’s degree in pedagogy from the University of Turku. Her illustrations have been featured on Svenska Yle and Yle x3ms national broadcast, and her style is distinguishable for its black lines, warm colours, subtle humor, and elements inspired by old horror movies. Lions on the Loose is her first collaboration with author Wilma Möller.
