Annina Holmberg (b. 1964) is a Helsinki-based author and screenwriter working across television drama, fiction and biography. She has written lives of both her parents, the theatre director Kalle Holmberg and the actor Ritva Holmberg, and grew up in the Töölö district in the years this novel describes. Annabel Lee (2025) opens her first novel series, based on an idea of four lonely women in literary history united by friendship.
